"Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, and the truth, and the life:                            no one cometh unto the Father, but by me." John 14:6

"For the wages of sin is death; but the free gift of God is eternal life in          Christ Jesus our Lord." Romans 6:23

"For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus:" Romans 3:23-24

"And inasmuch as it is appointed unto men once to die, and after this cometh judgment; so Christ also, having been once offered to bear the sins of many, shall appear a second time, apart from sin, to them that wait for him, unto salvation." Hebrews 9:27-28

"But God commendeth his own love toward us, in that,                                    while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us." Romans 5:8

"Come unto me, all ye that labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light." Matthew 11:28-30

"If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. If we say that we have not sinned,          we make him a liar, and his word is not in us." 1 John 1:8-10

"For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth on him should not perish, but have eternal life. For God sent not the Son into the world to judge the world; but that the world should be saved through him. He that believeth on him is not judged:  he that believeth not hath been judged already, because he hath not believed on the name of the only begotten Son of God." John 3:16-18

"For Christ sent me not to baptize, but to preach the gospel: not in wisdom of words, lest the cross of Christ should be made void. For the word of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us who are saved it is the power of God." 1 Corinthians 1:17-18

Today's Daily Scripture

Daily Bible Study Insight:                        "Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding,      shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus."              Philippians 4:6-7

Today's Devotional Scripture:                "My brethren, count it all joy              when ye fall into divers temptations;
Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience. But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may        be perfect and entire, wanting nothing.  If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask    of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be    given him. But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that      wavereth is like a wave of the sea    driven with the wind and tossed.          For let not that man think that he        shall receive any thing of the Lord.          A double minded man is unstable in      all his ways. Let the brother of low degree rejoice in that he is exalted:" James 1:2-9

Today's Verse in Proverbs

Proverbs Daily Insight:                            "My son, forget not my law;                  but let thine heart keep my commandments: For length of days,    and long life, and peace, shall they add to thee. Let not mercy and truth forsake thee: bind them about thy neck; write them upon the table of thine heart:      So shalt thou find favour and good understanding in the sight of God        and man." Proverbs 3:1-4

Believest thou this?" John 11:24-26

Scripture of the arrival of  Jesus Christ into Jerusalem...

Palm Sunday.

Gospel according to Matthew,                The arrival of Jesus Christ                  into Jerusalem...

"And when they drew nigh unto               Jerusalem, and were come to Bethphage, unto the mount of Olives, then sent Jesus two disciples, Saying unto them, Go into the village over against you, and straightway ye shall find an ass tied, and a colt with her: loose them, and bring them unto me. And if any man say ought unto you,      ye shall say, The Lord hath need of them; and straightway he will send them. All this was done, that it might  be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophet, saying, Tell ye the daughter      of Sion, Behold, thy King cometh unto thee, meek, and sitting upon an ass,    and a colt the foal of an ass.                And the disciples went, and did as Jesus commanded them, And brought the ass, and the colt, and put on them their clothes, and they set him thereon.      And a very great multitude spread their garments in the way;  others cut down branches from the trees, and strawed them in the way. And the multitudes that went before, and that followed, cried, saying, Hosanna to the son of David: Blessed is he that cometh in      the name of the Lord; Hosanna in the highest. And when he was come into Jerusalem, all the city was moved, saying, Who is this? And the multitude said, This is Jesus the prophet of Nazareth of Galilee." Matthew 21:1–11

“Then cometh Jesus with them unto        a place called Gethsemane, and saith unto the disciples, Sit ye here, while I    go and pray yonder. And he took with him Peter and the two sons of Zebedee,   and began to be sorrowful and very heavy. Then saith he unto them,            My soul is exceeding sorrowful,          even unto death: tarry ye here,            and watch with me. And he went a little farther, and fell on his face, and prayed, saying, O my Father, if it be possible,    let this cup pass from me:      nevertheless not as I will, but as thou wilt. And he cometh unto the disciples, and findeth  them asleep, and saith    unto Peter, What, could ye not watch with me one hour? Watch and pray,    that ye enter not into temptation:          the spirit indeed is willing, but the      flesh is weak. He went away again        the second time, and prayed, saying,      O my Father, if this cup may not pass away from me, except I drink it, thy will  be done. And he came and found them asleep again: for their eyes were heavy.  And he left them, and went away again, and prayed the third time, saying the same words. Then cometh he to his disciples, and saith unto them,  Sleep on now, and take your rest: behold, the hour is at hand,  and the Son of man        is betrayed into the hands of sinners. sinners. Rise, let us be going: behold,    he is at hand that doth betray me." Scripture of the Resurrection of Jesus Christ...

Gospel according to Matthew,               His Glorious Resurrection...

"In the end of the sabbath,                      as it began to dawn toward the first    day of the week, came Mary Magdalene and the other Mary to see the sepulchre. And, behold, there was a great earthquake: for the angel of the Lord descended from heaven, and came and rolled back the stone from the door, and sat upon it. His countenance was like lightning, and his raiment white as snow: And for fear of him the keepers did shake, and became as dead men. And the angel answered and      said unto the women, Fear not ye:        for I know that ye seek Jesus, which    was crucified. He is not here: for he is risen, as he said. Come, see the place where the Lord lay. And go quickly,    and tell his disciples that he is risen from the dead; and, behold, he goeth before you into Galilee; there shall ye see him: lo, I have told you. And they departed quickly from the sepulchre with fear and great joy; and did run to bring his disciples word. And as they went to tell his disciples, behold,      Jesus met them, saying, All hail.          And they came and held him by              the feet, and worshipped him."            Matthew 28:1-9

"For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall  be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor,    The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace." Isaiah 9:6

Scripture foretelling the birth of Jesus Christ...

The Gospel of Matthew:                          "Now the birth of Jesus Christ was on this wise: When as his mother Mary was espoused to Joseph, before they came together, she was found with    child of the Holy Ghost. Then Joseph her husband, being a just man, and not willing to make her a public example, was minded to put her away privily.    But while he thought on these things, behold, the angel of the Lord appeared unto him in a dream, saying, Joseph, thou son of David, fear not to take    unto thee Mary thy wife: for that    which is conceived in her is of the Holy Ghost. And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name Jesus:      for he shall save his people from their sins. Now all this was done, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken of the Lord by the prophet, saying, Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call    his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us. Then Joseph being raised from sleep did as the angel of the Lord had bidden him, and took unto him his wife: And knew her not    till she had brought forth her firstborn son: and he called his name Jesus." Matthew 1:18-25

"A Young Boy's Prayer for Christmas"

Scripture Text: “Therefore we ought to give the more earnest heed to the things which we have heard, lest at any time we should let them slip. For if the    word spoken by angels was stedfast, and every transgression and disobedience received a just  recompence of reward; How shall we escape, if we neglect so great salvation; which at the first began to be spoken  by the Lord, and was confirmed unto    us by them that heard him; God also bearing them witness, both with signs and wonders, and with divers miracles,  and gifts of  the Holy Ghost, according to his own will?" Hebrews 2:1-4

New Testament Scripture Verses about Christ's Birth...

The Gospel of Luke:                          “And, behold, there was a man in Jerusalem, whose name was Simeon; and the same man was just and devout, waiting for the consolation of Israel:    and the Holy Ghost was upon him.    And it was revealed unto him by the Holy Ghost, that he should not see death, before he had seen the Lord's Christ. And he came by the Spirit into the temple: and when the parents brought in the child Jesus, to do for him after the custom of the law, Then took he him up in his arms, and blessed God, and said, Lord, now lettest thou thy servant depart in peace, according to thy word: For mine eyes have seen thy salvation, Which thou hast prepared before the face of all people; A light      to lighten the Gentiles, and the glory    of thy people Israel. And Joseph and    his mother marvelled at those things which were spoken of him."              Luke 2:8-19
